These programs are designed to simplify trade processes and help secure the global supply chain. They are voluntary participation programs, operated and managed by the Customs Administration. The goal of the program is to streamline and facilitate trade processes, in collaboration with the business sector, while improving customs services.
Companies that successfully complete the enrollment process in these programs will benefit from trade process simplifications, both in import and export procedures.
What are the benefits for an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) / Authorized Importer (AI)?
- mplementation of the "Advance Notification Service" process (intended for clearance prior to availability). *
- Option to consolidate supplier accounts. *
- Exemption from Importer’s Declaration (subject to approval by the relevant management authority).
- Direct and electronic submission of documents to customs agents.
- Contact persons within the Customs Administration.

What documents are required to be submitted when applying for the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) / Authorized Importer (AI) program?
After submitting the application form, the processing of the request will be determined based on the customs authority's decision.
A notification confirming the receipt of your application will be sent to the applicants within a few days. A representative from the customs authority will contact you to explain the next steps and your enrollment in the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) or Authorized Importer (AI) program, based on customs decisions.
