Peak Season Surcharge from Europe

Dear All,

Due to changes in shipping routes and limited options from the Far East, demand from Europe is increasing, leading shipping companies to impose a PSS (Peak Season Surcharge) on shipments from Europe to Israel.

The surcharge varies between shipping companies and trade routes.

The PSS surcharge is between $150-200 per TEU, depending on the shipping company and trade route.

The PSS will be applied immediately to all cargo departing from Europe to Israel as of December 20th.

The PSS will also apply to partial shipments from Europe, with a rate of $6 per CBM.

As of now, shipping lines from Europe are operating as usual, but we are seeing increased demand and expect equipment shortages in the coming weeks.

Best regards,
