World Gate
World Gate is the new customs clearance system introduced by the Israel Tax Authority. The system is designed to promote better synchronization between all parties, including shipping companies and international entities. It is a cloud-based internet system that moves Israel’s customs towards a paperless environment.
The new system places responsibility and tasks on importers and exporters. In this system, documents will be submitted to customs by AllCargo as scanned and digitally signed media (original documents will only be submitted upon specific request by customs). Communication between customs brokers and customs will be fully computerized.

Power of Attorney for Customs Agent
According to the Customs Ordinance, every importer and exporter must provide a digital Power of Attorney to their customs agent. This is their sole responsibility!

Importer Declaration
The declaration form has been digitized. This form describes the importer’s commercial relationship with their suppliers abroad. The importer must submit the annual form to customs through the online system and ensure it is renewed each year.

Digital Signing of Documents
According to the Customs Ordinance, all documents must be digitally signed by the importer (supplier invoice, preference document, and certificate of origin). The importer must store the original documents in a digital archive for 7 years, according to income tax guidelines.

Ministry of Economy and the Standards Institute
Following the new standards reform, the Import Administration requires every importer to register on the Ministry of Economy website. We are happy to assist you with the Maslul system for standards and approvals. In order to provide this service, please list AllCargo as your authorized representative.
A smart card is not required, but you must first register with the government’s digital identification system.
